Bad News!!

Hi everyone!I have bad news for JPG-PINS. JP Salas decided to do no more Pinball Tables for the moment.He wants to wait till VP9 is ready and till he has bought a new Computer, to decide if then he want to do more tables.I don´t like the decision, cause my mind is to still do some VP8 Tables, cause VP9 is in an very early stage, and simply unuseable for serious pinball productions.So i hope that one Day JPG PINS will return to do more Tables for you! This Forum stays opend, and i will be still be in VP Buisness to do table how far as i canGreetings GRONI

Hi Groni, really bad news! I don't know what to say, I'm a little sad about it because there a so many tables need a update or are worth to make it new or better for VP 8, it is my opinion! JP makes the best tables for VP , but I think that you can do it like him, because since you work with JP the tables that you both made are simply terrific! Go on and do some updates and finish "Fish Tales"(if you like to do it) and when VP9 is "perfect" you both can do tables for VP9 together!

Uh.. very bad news ;( I really the jpg-pins tables. They are a new & very high level of quality.

Btw. I also would pay (Donate) for your tables. It's nearly crazy to create this (hard work & time consuming) tables for free i think. So why not place PayPal-Donate buttons with your new and existing releases?

i hope V9 final release fast and we can enjoy new Groni/JPSALS Pinballs.

I'm very sad too, I was really looking forward to the two of you guys doing the top three you were talking about, Fish Tales, Twilight Zone and Theatre of magic with the vp 8.1 versions. They would have looked unbelievable, JP if you read this thread at least consider these three tables and then start doing the vp9 tables. I'm not really that impressed with vp9 yet it's just so hard to figure out and get it started i hope they fix it so we don't have to do any changing with the script, it's just to confusing for us computer Newbies if you now what i mean. And if you want to wait for your new computer then do so, same goes for if you want to take a break i'd understand. But please you and groni have too do more table together they are so real they blow my mind. And Groni don't give up either give it a try on your own if you can, like you said you'd like to make fish tales go ahead and try it, Your toys are absalutly unbeleivable, especially Homer Simpsons head that you did and the toys on the Flinstones looked beutiful. Thanks guys for all the hard work that you do and i hope you guys deciede too keep doing it. Dave P.

Are we actually correct to think that this is indeed a "retirement" of sorts? The only part of your post which hints at that, is when you say that JP will first buy a computer and then wants to think about if he wants to continue with building tables. I hope sincerely that you both continue building together, I won't mind waiting with you for a stable VP9, even if it means that there are no VP8 releases anymore in the near future. But if it is goodbye, then offcourse hats of to your work, you supplied me with countless hours of pure pinball fun! Say hi to JP for me, will ya? (and please continue to pester him with the question to build more tables.... )

If Jp once to retire thats fine just get Theatre Of Magic done for 8.1

Sad news indeed! Just like to thank you both for all your excellent work, and here's hoping a VP9 final release is just around the corner! Again, thank you guys...

Groni, that's some news you're giving us .. nevertheless all releases so far have been very enjoyable and superb, good for hours and hours of fun!

Well, the news ain't that bad, it would be worse if JP stopped making recreations totally. But he'll be back.
I hope Groni can make updates on current tables (flipper settings).
And I think we all are looking forward to the release of fish tales...

And thanks for all the hard work
